Tigers Eye Crystal

Tiger's eye is also referred to as Tigers eye or Tiger eye, it is a chatoyant gemstone that is usually a metamorphic rock that is a golden to red-brown colour, with a silky luster. A member of the quartz group, it is a classic example of pseudomorphous replacement by silica of fibrous crocidolite (blue asbestos). An incompletely silicified blue variant is known as Hawk's eye.

Tiger's Eye is a stone of protection that is also very stabilizing and grounding.  It enhances integrity, willpower,  self-confidence, practicality and correct use of  power. It is a stone that enhances good luck, and brings prosperity, often in the form of money. Tiger's eye is also a very protective stone which is especially protective during travel. It can also help one see clearly without illusion. Tiger's eye brings a special boost to the solar plexus chakra and to one's personal power.

Many legends about quartz say that wearing tiger's eye (which is a form of quartz) is beneficial for health and spiritual well being. Legend also says it is a psychic protector, great for business, and an aid to achieving clarity.

Tiger's Eye is the Planetary stone for Gemini (May 21-Jun. 20) and the accepted gem for the ninth wedding anniversary.

WHO RECOMMENDS RESCHEDULING CANNABIS IN INTERNATIONAL LAW FOR FIRST TIME IN HISTORY

he World Health Organization has suggested that cannabis should be downgraded, or "rescheduled," given the mounting evidence showing that the drug could prove beneficial in treating a number of health problems.   This marks a significant change in WHO's position, which for the last 60 years has said that cannabis should not be used in medicine, according to an article in the  BMJ . The WHO Expert Committee on Drug Dependence has recommended that cannabis resin and other marijuana products should be downgraded from a schedule IV to a schedule I drug under international law.
